>From time to time I notice that Slimserver is "adding" albums. On
investigation it seems that albums are being split, with some tracks
being in one instance of the album, and the rest (usually just one
track) being in another.

A delete and re-scan usually sorts it out, but this is a pain.

Yesterday another problem surfaced. I was searching for The Who, "Live
at Leeds" on the SB3, but it was showing the playlist for that album as
being empty.

I went to the computer and opened Slimserver/Albums. The total album
count was about 15 higher than I would have expected. There were two
albums titled "Live at Leeds", but both were empty. The tracks were
still on my hard drive, so I did delete and re-scan everything again.
Album count now correct, all tracks back in a sinlge "Live at Leeds"
album.

Anyone got any idea why this is happening?

I'm using Slimserver 6.5.1 (up to now, it's not been broke, so no need
to fix it!)
I don't use iTunes
I don't use any plug-ins that I'm aware of
The album above is not in any playlist
All my music is in one folder on my external HDD - there are no
shortcuts to other folders
All tracks are WMA - mostly lossless, but a few at lower bitrates

I have been experiencing intermittent problems with the power supply to
my external HDD - could this be the cause? The external HDD holds my
music folder, Slimserver is on the internal hard drive.

Cheers guys!
