It could be 4 hops, Server to Repeater, Repeater to AP, AP to Repeater, Repeater to Player. Which would happen if both server and player are within best coverage of the repeater. In general, a repeater in a wireless network is always a suboptimal solution. It would be better to have two APs in that case, each connected wired to the backbone. Or use a better antenna on the AP. -- Mike Schenk ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Mike Schenk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=14635 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=43323 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
