I have a similar issue quite frequently. I don't think it has ever occurred when my computer (iMac) is on, but only if it has gone to sleep and then woken up.
I have always assumed that the wireless connection is off somehow, but your experience with two SBs suggests it is the SB. Anyway, one thing to try is to press and hold the Power button (for quite a few seconds). This puts you in the setup menu. Don't go through the setup process, but press Up to get an option to connect to your server. Pressing Right goes through the process of connecting to the wireless network and then to the server. This always seems to work for me. I recently tried another suggestion, press and hold Left. This appeared to produce the same option "Connect to server" as what I have suggested, but immediately gave the "waking up server", "connecting to server" messages and then went black again. I tried this several times. This approach did not give the "connecting to network" and related messages. -- danco ------------------------------------------------------------------------ danco's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=210 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=43375 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
