So the SB is wired directly to the computer - not via the router? If so
the problem is simply that the SB can't see the outside world, it has
no internet connection and so it can't get the stream.

If I were you, I'd connect the SB to the wireless network, and then use
it to bridge the connection to the PC. That way, you still have a
directly wired connection between SB and SC (which is usually a good
idea). I also find that the SB is an excellent wireless bridge, and
gives better performance than a regular wireless card in every case
I've tried.

If you don't want to do that, you could try having both devices
wireless, or you could share the computers connection between it's
wired and wireless interfaces. If you're running windows that's done
via "Internet Connection Sharing" - google will find instructions.

Finally, it is possible to set the SB to use SC as a proxy for all
external connections. That might be the simplest solution, but alas I
forget the exact setting in SC. Maybe someone will jump in and remind
us :)
