I'd recommend a really light-weight PC running Windows or Linux to use
as a server, in lieu of an NAS.  That way, you're insured of always
being able to run the latest version of SqueezeCenter, instead of being
at the mercy of someone porting the latest version to your particular
NAS.

Check out logicsupply.com -- they have some really neat small
formfactor VIA chip-based computers.  I think you can get one with an
Esata connector, and that way you can run an external drive(s) no
problem (check out cooldrives.com for some nice esata enclosures).
