I've just move all my music on to a new 1Tb disk. Now all my music is in one place at last, I don't have a "music folder" set anymore and use the MusicIP import to feed SC with data... In which case - why does my music drive thrash away like crazy during a scan, if the data is coming from the musicIP cache which is on a different disk? I'm confused... (would I be better not using MusicIP and doing a drive scan instead? - either method seems to take ages (29k tracks, SC7, XP))
