Hey guys, I just wanted to give you an update on this. I played with the Duet extensively over the weekend and have no complaints. The Duet Controller operated with little to no issue connecting to my Duet Receiver.
Two small observations I noticed this weekend: (1) The battery life on the Controller somewhat has been reduced--this could be from the WLAN power management. (2) In controlling my Squeezebox player thru the Duet Controller, I would have to reboot the controller if I wanted to 'sync' the players together. This happened sporadically. Again, not a bid deal. Kudos to the dev team. Thanks. jwaka11;287369 Wrote: > Update: I've downloaded the latest nightly patch last night (7.0.1) and > reinstalled SqueezeCenter. So yes, this product is what I expected it to be. > Thanks guys! > > I will play around with it extensively this weekend and will report any > findings. > > FYI, my setup includes: > -Netgear WPNT834 Wireless Router > -Hardwired SB Receiver (I havent done any updates so its still the > original firmware) > -Latest version of the software for the controller (downloaded last > night 3/3/08) > -Fresh copy of Squeezebox Center 7.0.1 installed in windows XP SP2 -- jwaka11 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jwaka11's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=16431 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=45031 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
