This has followed on from an uninstall/reinstall following a scanning problem. I tried to clear and rescan my library due to artwork thumbnails not displaying. This did not work so I removed the shortcuts to my various folders expecting a clear and rescan to result with an empty library. How wrong was I! It appears that the scan went into an endless loop (continued for 6 hours until I decided to uninstall).
Now that I have reinstalled, the app says it is starting but never does. Furthermore the endless scanning has started again!
