I'm afraid I only use Macs in my house - they work, PCs don't! Winamp and Foobar only seem to be available for PC which is a bit shortsighted.
The reason I use the ReadyNas is that I am often out of the country and keep all my music at home on it. If a GUI can be run faster, why isn't one developed for Slim devices?
