On my brothers laptop after installing and rebooting it displays "starting slimserver" but then stops. Tried both 6.5.3 and 7.0.2 A couple of times after rebooting, or manually starting it myself it works but more often or not it doesn't. Works fine on my HTPC server. I might have disabled some windows services, but I couldn't spot any dependencies required by SS. Might need a fresh Windows install but rather not do that again.
