I too am having problems. I tried updating to 7.1 yesterday and had the same situation where I could not get web access at all. but instead of troubleshooting I just reverted back to 7.0.2.
personally I'm getting quite tired of the near continuous bugs with squeezecenter. fwiw- in another thread, this potential solution was forwarded: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=50391 I will probably try that fix but it seems a bit crazy that customers are being asked to do these troubleshooting tasks just to get an update to work properly.
