Standard operating procedure for a lot of support desks. A lot of the time it makes sense - at least you're in a 'known' position, making troubleshooting/tech support easier (or even possible). I'm currently being told to do that (clean install) by Slim support at the moment... After a prominsing start, I'm dissapointed by Slim support so far (currently at 'level 2'). But that's another matter, and I'll wait to see if my issue gets resolved before saying any more. But this is the first real hassle I've had in over a year, and I still think the Squeezebox is fantastic (the company too - the Logitech acquisition doesn't seem to have done any harm). :) -- chrisinparis ------------------------------------------------------------------------ chrisinparis's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=11963 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=50432 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
