I'm running SC 7.0 and want to set up some local stations in a playlist for Grandma to listen to. I'm setting up a Squeezebox with a simplified menu that only shows the playlists to make it easy for her to use. Problem is the local country stations I picked for her and set up as playlists only work for a short time. If I go back later and try to play them from the playlist menu I just get a long line of characters on the display but no sound. If I go back through the RadioTime menu and pick the same stations they work fine. If I create the playlist again it works for awhile but soon I can't start it from the playlist again (but can always start it from RadioTime). Interestingly the local rock stations I set up as playlists start fine every time I pick them. (Too bad Grandma isn't into rock) Am I doing something wrong in setting up the stations as playlists? Or is it something about these specific streams? If they always start from the RadioTime menu (after drilling down through all the location menu layers) then shouldn't I be able to create an entry to start them directly? TIA for any suggestions.
