This actually came up in our last R based SWC. We did the full git lesson, but I casually mentioned the git integration in RStudio and there was a good amount of interest in the audience. I took time to briefly cover doing a push request through RStudio, but as I don’t use it much, I was unable to show them more than that. A full episode over it might be beneficial.

The RStudio interface also comes with a terminal built in. I'll check what it is for Windows, but that, I think, simplifies a lot of the issues with installing and using shell on Windows boxes, again simplifying the workflow.
