Basically, you'd setup the computer in whatever config you want, tell
Deepfreeze, or whatever program, to lock and then no changes to the hard
drive can happen from there, and if it crashes, restart and it's back to
it's original state.

I'll take a look.  There are any number of different images that are in use
though.

We already have virtual out the ying yang.   The physical systems are  
needed for things that can not easily be virtualized as of yet or for
performance reasons where the image has databases and other io or cpu
intensive bits.
