Thanks Dan,  I also found that the only two wake conditions are for  
the modems "wake when a ring is detected", and ethernet admin.  What  
it seems we need here is something that will wake the computer, run a  
job and shut it down.  I imagine you could do the wake and shut down  
or sleep through the schedule and schedule the cron during the awake  
period.
