Just a suggestion - how much memory are you using? I would suggest 512k minimum, better 1gb, also which processor (i.e. one of the new Intel dual core or an older machine?

Hi,
I'm not running a Mac mini but a Mac G4 desk top machine. it boots happily with out a monitor plugged in but Voice Over tends to be a little jumpy. for instance when navigating through files and folders in the finder it repeats file names 2 or 3 times. Its a bit of a pain and it mite only be like this on my machine, I've never tested it out with any other Macs. I normally just plug a PC monitor in to it and leave it on just to keep VO
happy.

HAs any one else come across this bug?

Cheers

Subject: Mac Mini without monitor

Hello again. Obviously, since I'm blind, I don't need to see the
computer screen. This brings me to the question: can a Mac Mini be used without a monitor? I have a PC monitor, but it's at my parent's house. Since I go to a university, I live in a dorm, so I'm hardly ever at my
parent's house. My thinking was that since I would use Voice Over, I
could just do without the monitor. I just didn't know if the Bios would
let me boot without a monitor attached. Thanks.
Ryan
