Hi Scott,

Don't know yet about MathML for the next version but is a definite include for the longer term. The most likely thing that will happen is first release of Cocoa version will support DAISY 3...then support for additional formats/flavors will be included in updates released as the calendar year wears on. Thanks for the CSUN presentation link...will check it out.

Joe, btw, I know Katieplayer will be supporting Daisy 3, but have you good folks thought about supporting Mathml? I hope so and there's a topic which Larry recorded at Cson (hope I got that spelled correctly) at http://www.blindcooltech.com. I think this is something I'd like to see on the feature list for sure.

tnx

Actually, I need nagging. It's a deadline week so I haven't gotten to it quite yet. Yes, pretty much the only thing left to do is compile and update the docs.

As for the requested feature...sure, that can be done. It would probably take me a couple of weeks to get it done since this is a bit of a side project but I have added it to the requested feature list.

Again, apologies for the delay in getting the new version of the Cocoa Speech app up.

Hey there. Was the new version of this app posted yet and I missed it, or does it still need compiling?

I am not tryin gto nag, I'm just curious.

There is one other improvement that I have thought of--the only reason I still use books2burn.

Books2burn lets you divide the file up into multiple audio files based on size or keywords. So,m when I want to turn aan etext into a audio book and it's all one file, I put Chapter, or whatever the keyword is, into that field, check the checkbox that says chapterize, and away you go.

Would this be possible to add into coco Speech?

Just thinking aloud here. The less software I *have* to have on my computer, the better.

Jane
