Hey Ryan, I don't know that i have the full version of RI since i got
it with my HP scanner as part of the package, it hasn't asked me to
buy the full version yet so i believe that it is the full version
already. i don't know off hand if there is any place to get a demo
version of RI (or OP for that matter)

Were you able to get a demo of Read Iris or did you just have to
buy it and hope it worked? I went to the web site for Read Iris
and I couldn't figure out how to download the demo. When I went to
download a trial version, only the upgrade option was available.
Thanks.

Thanks Pete. I am currently using Read Iris which as far as I can
tell is doing a good job, but there are some features in Omni Page
I'm interested in. I might consider trying it seeing as how they
have a 30-day return policy so at least if it really is a drag, I
can return it and no hard feelings.grin

Hey Scott,
I have used OmniPage. so far i have had pretty good luck with it.
you do have to work with it some, by that i mean you have to
select the zones and the format of the zones, but even that is
not to hard to do. i wish some one would write some ocr software
that would read my mind and do exactly what i want it to do
without any work on my part, but maybe some day!!! i guess the
only complaint that i have with it so far is that i am just to lazy.
please feel free to ask any questions, don't know if i will have
the answers but i will try.
