Hi Jane,
Ok, I've tried this on my mud. I am probably not understanding the
process completely, but I set the system speech to a different voice than I
use with VO. Now, the session menu has a speech item, and there is a speak
and speak in background option. I've tried both, but only get speech the
first few times I type. I don't get any sort of feedback at all, and it
doesn't seem to read properly if I try to review the text window.

Again, I might not have a setting right, so if you have any tips. Please
let me know. It does look promising.

Take Care

I ahve Nintius speaking. You have to have the system voice set differently
from the voiceOver Voice, and you can't check speech till after you log in,
I mean that's how I do it. And I can't read boards, but I can talk to
people. I don't know about muds yet. I'll have to try it later.

What's relaly cool is that while I am typing this email, I am able to listen
to what is going on in the mu* client window. I am on furrymuck furry.com
8888 and am Juanita, if anyone is curious.

Jane
