Travis,
Let me tell you how I do things when I'm mastering a live cd for somebody,
since I am a recording engineer by trade.
All the tracks get separated into their own .wav files, Once there, they are
trimmed so there arre no spaces in the beginning or end of them. Then, I'll
organize the cd layout. With Windows, I use Nero. Once that is done, I'll go
into the track properties, and select a pause of 0 after each track. In this
way, track indeces are honored, as is the live flow of the cd, as there are
no gaps between tracks. Not all programs put a pause in by default between
songs if you are writing in DAO mode. Roxio does not, or did not when I used
to use them regularly.
Hope that helps a little.
