A 350 MHZ mac will probably work, but it will be a bit sluggish. I'd
hold out for something a bit faster if at all possible. Plus, be
careful buying from ebay. We got a mac for our son there, and the
machine doesn't work. This after paying nearly 200 bucks for the
machine, plus whatever it was for shipping. Unfortunately, I didn't
have a monitor that I could test with it until nearly a month later.
When we did finally get it tested, we found that all the components
work just fine, but the motherboard is toast. I highly doubt the guy
selling it was unaware of this. I tried to give feedback in ebay,
but it refused to let me leave anything but possitive feedback, so I
left none at all. So just be careful what you get. For us it turns
it's not really a problem, since we were going to upgrade the
motherboard anyhow to a G4, but still, this certainly wasn't what I
paid for.
