For those that are interested, the tool will work on the intel macs
with just a few modifications in the source, then you'll get a
compile that'll work on the intel-based macs. If anyone wants to try
this, let me know, and I can walk you through the changes required.
They're real simple, or I could just send the modified source files.
They'll be incorporated into the main distribution soon, so this
won't be necessary for long.
Plus, the code is currently being worked on to make it compatible
with the ppc macs as well. There's no time frame on this, but I'd
imagine that in a couple months or less, we should be able to use the
tool on tiger regardless of which version you're running.
Just thought I'd drop a line here, since I was the one to say it
didn't work on the mac. The original author has no problem making
the required changes to make it work on macs, so if you have one of
these, I'd urge you to join the mailing list, so you'll know when
it's ready for use.
