Same here. aNever thought it'd be tucked in with the text. Kind of make since once you think about it, but since nothing else I'd used before did it that way, I never even considered looking in the text. Just goes to show, everyone can learn from this list. And, apple's way makes more sense.

If you interact with your text while the compose window is up, you will see an indication of your attachment. Also, remember to activate the choose file buttone once you have highlighted the file you wish to attach or the dialog will bail with no results.
