I appreciate accessibility on t˙e one hand--please don't think I take it for granted. But on the other hand, I don't consider it a "favor" either--not if I'm going to pay for the product especially. As for a third party software compnay: first, that depends partly on companies wanting to share their code with a third party. secondly, there is the possibility that we would then have to pay the third party company an inflated price for the modified "accessible" program. I do understand the dilemma for companies and I understand the purpose of the idea of a third party; just pointing out that there are some considerations involved.
