I'd appreciate the testing since I don't have the Cepstral voices
here for testing myself. Could post any problems you run across as
known issues so folks will know what's up if they run across the
difficulty.

really great on my machine anyway; the only reason I have them is
for Spanish and for DTBmaker. I prefer the speechissimo Spanish
voice but recording that way goes through audio hijack pro so takes
longer. Anyway, will let you know if reinstalling the cepstral
voices solves the problem; if that works, I may try changing the
rate to see if that recreates the same errors.
