Yes I did actually get that and installed it. I'm still plodding
through the docs looking for some info on the settings that might
help with the choppyness. I'll get it figured out yet.

Hi Sott,
I believe there is a newer version of VLC and you can ftp to the
following address.
ftp://ftp.video.org. Once there, go to pub and I believe then you
should see videolan/vlc and while there, look for maxosx or
something like that.
Go to 08.5 or something like that and you'll see the dmg which is
11mb and the date is 5/14/2006. I hope I gave the correct address.
Let me know if you get the file.

Hmmmm, I am using Vlc, but Itunes no problem. I hadnt' tried
Quicktime, but I might just to see how that works. Funny at times
it'll work fine and other times not so maybe Vlc is a little more
sensative to network loads or something.
tnx

Hi Scott,
I don't have the exact url but the readme and I believe for the
OSX RTF file does mention what you are describing.
I was able to connect with Music Of your Life throu Bill Sparks
and no choppy stream. However if you go to wnar-am.com really
choppy.
I did read something about a file under preferences to open with
and I suspect a lot of these might be associated with Quick Time.
You might want to try to let's say a asf file and under file, get
info see what it opens with.
Thanks for the file and when playing an MP3 file you can jump to
time.

Ok, so I'm nuts, but I was looking for the buffering items, but
I can't find it for nothing. Oddly the stream was working fine
and now it is choppy again. I haven't yet found reference to
this in the manual so if anyone recalls where this might be
hiding please let me know. I wonder if they changed its name in
the newer version.
