As long as they're not the ones that make troopanum. When version 1.0 came out, I bought it. At that time, I also paid the extra $19 so I wouldn't have to worry about getting charged for additional codes when windows crashed as it so often does requiring a reinstall.
Then version 2.0 came out.
I asked if I could be given a credit towards the version 2.0 price, since I had bought the extra installs, which apparently most folks did not do. I was told that even though they no longer charged extra for install keys, and hadn't for some time, I could not obtain any sort of credit towards 2.0, because they were not giving credit for such purchases. It was after that I dropped out of the blind gamers market entirely, even to the point of never finishing my battleship game which is still at 1.0-pre5, because I did not wish to be associated with an industry that treated it's extremely limited customer base in such a manner.

For the record, we've never asked for volunteer developers. Some folks volunteer their voice acting talents for credit, but we don't solicit for that either.
