You can try the line in program from the same folks as audio hijack.   
I know it's functionality is built-in to audio hijack, but it may  
work better for you to use a separate app for this.  The only problem  
with this is I don't know how well it can integrate with  another  
recording happening simultaneously.
However, if it can be made to work, it may solve your problem.
