I don't know of a way to detect when something is a heading, but the
text does show up which is why I mentioned that I did not see it.
Thee issue of links which take you somewhere else on the same page
not being followed by VO is something we are familiar with. I hope
this is corrected when VO is updated.

There is just one heading at the top of the page, incidentally, how
do you detect heading in Safari?
The other thing I haven't been able to find yet is how to follow
within page links. I can activate a within page link (and the screen
moves), but when I VO-arrow around, I am back where the link was.
