Hi Gordon,If my memory serves me correctly, there should be a folder on your computer called "Assistance" where you can register your Mac. If it's not there, it might even just be a file called Register your Apple or something like that. I think it was usually in either your Home directory or in the Users folder on your Macintosh HD. It's there somewhere, I just can't remember for sure as I've trashed mine long ago.
