Hi everyone. Just in case y ou all are wondering where I've been, a lot's happened over the last week.
My hard drive on my iBook is going, and they want it replaced. In addition to that, I got word on Tuesday that I got accepted for a job through ameriCorps up in Pennsylvania, so we had to look for apartments. Got word Friday that we have one. We'll be moving in soon. Gotta get to the Apple store with my iBook to get it fixed, get the drive replaced, or whatever. It works except for Mail, and when we did a diagnostic scan I took note of the error number and called Tech Support and they told me the drive is going and that they want to get it replaced. Thankfully it's covered under the apple care warranty,. Which brings up another question for Joe. Sorry, can't find his email. If I get a new hard drive, am I going to have to pay to register KatiePlayer? I mean, I don't know if the hardware fingerprint is going to be different and how to handle it. That's pretty much it. I'm burning stuff to CD, and grabbing all the important data off. How can I burn the address book? Already got a lot of old emails saved to CD. Got the email folder from when the drive first started acting up. Jane
