Joining the list

Hello.

For those of you who actually recall joining the list, do you  
remember if it required moderator approval? I'm attempting to  
subscribe another email address and, after replying to the original  
confirmation, I was told that the request was being held for approval.

I've joined/run many Mailman lists before, so this isn't (shouldn't  
be :) an issue of my not getting it. Does anyone recall if this list  
is in fact set up this way? Or did I just make a mistake that I'm  
simply not recalling? :)
