Hey Scott. Your best bet is to switch to a phone that supports the Cymbian 
opporating system. This way, it will run either Talks or Mobile Speak. The 
nokia series 60 phones do this, as well as some others. However, I don't 
think any of them will work on Sprint. I left sprint and went to Cingular 
because they support these phones. As far as gsm vs cdma, I don't know. As 
far as talks vs mobile speak, grabb a 30 day license of each and see which 
one you like. I hope that helps at least a little bit.
