Hi. I wouldn't worry too much about cluttering your hard drive with
software that doesn't work. It's really easy to uninstall software
from the mac. Usually it's just a matter of deleting the application
in question, then deleting any preferences you may have in your
library. Sometimes what I do if the program I want to try is just an
application file, I'll just run it from the disk image file I
downloaded. Then if I like the program, I'll then move it over to my
applications folder.
