Hi. The only way I've found of actually editing is to use the Go To
function. It is slow and tedious. When I said excellent Sound
Studio, I should have qualified that by saying excellent Sound Studio
for recording. It's editing functionality via the keyboard is not so
excellent. Far from it actually. I use SS all the time for
recording - but have to resort to other tools for editing. I do it
this way because SS is so slick and isn't as resource-hungry as the
other recorders I've tied. I still don't have an adequate sound
editor for MacOS, I'm sorry to say. I'm sure they exist, I just
haven't found the right solution yet. But I believe that SS leads
the way in actual recording. Sorry I can't tell you more. I know
you have a lot of experience in the Mac world. Perhaps you're aware
of a software solution that I'm not. I'm willing to give anything a
try if there's a way of accurately editing without resorting to the
Windows platform and Sound Forge.
