this looks like nothing but spam to me. I am not going to waiste my time and argue a vary technical ssupporting reason why its litterally impossible do to privaledges and security nets with in the os etc why spyware and viruses would have to be written in a fashion to where it would get past all that even before being activated. sorry, try again

Hi all

Everyone tells me that MACS don't need anti virus software etc, well, I have a new MAC desktop, bought it just over a week ago and being a PC user from way back, I felt uncomfortable not having anti virus software, so decided I would purchase anti virus software for my MAC, and everything was fine until today and whamo you guessed it, it detected a virus. The virus has now been treated and erradicated and I'm glad I got anti virus protection, and will continue to use same. I also purchased ant spyware software, as far as I am now concerned the small purchase price has already paid off. Just thought you may find it interesting as I know most perople with MACS don't use anti virus software believing MACS don't get viruses.

A good website for security issues and software programs is;

 www.securemac.com

Cheers
