It so happens that I have a version of Norton Antivirus, which is 
supposedly for the Mac, and I sold it to a friend of miune who said 
that, when he installed it on his machine, it made no difference.  It 
was developed for OS9X, and he said it had no baring on how his 
computer ran, nor did it alert him of any potential viruses.   
Incidentally, he is sighted, and he tested it thoroughly.  Richie
