it is the darndest thing. When I run my machine with ubuntu on it,
and then shut it off, it is like my computer still goes through a
recovery process where it acts groggy like I just started it up
except that it acts like that for some time. It is acting pretty
well at the moment as i have my virtual machine running in the
background and I just figured out how to stop interacting with the
machine window.
I have it set to use 512 mb of ram which is more than half of whaht I
have (1 gb). Does anyone here know if that is a fair distribution of
ram? How much does ubuntu and how much does tiger need to run decently?
