Hi!
Ok, I've imported heaps of CD's into Itunes and I've had the data retrieved by Itunes from the Gracenote database on the Internet successfuly but this project I want to undertake is different in that I want to import books which are on standard CD. No data is available in the Gracenote database so I thought I'd create a book directory to reflect the book title and then create sub-directory's under that for each disc I imported, say numbered Disc 01 to Disc 12, all I'd have to do then was to point Itunes to the directory associated with the number of the CD I wanted to import. Next thing I did was to go into the Itunes preferences and uncheck that box which says import to location, wherever your location just happens to be. I figured that if I did this then Itunes would prompt me where to import the CD's. Ok, so far so good and Yep, Itunes does seem to ask me for a location for the import, I see what appears to be the standard "file" dialog box and I can browse easily enough to the location, say Disc 01 for CD 1 to import but I cannot click on the "choose" button, its there but I'm not allowed by Itunes to do anything with this, can someone please explain to me what I may be doing wrong? Now just a further clarification, I only want a number to represent the track in the filename, say "1.aac" to represent Track 1, "2.aac" to represent Track 2 etc and each CD will be in a separate folder, well that's what I'm hoping to do at any rate.
