Hi Dane,
Have you considered simply creating a play list? Or are you looking to do something on the fly?

By no means do I intend to insult your intelligence, but I have know idea what all you know about iTunes. For instance, you are aware that when you are placed over a song in the "songs" list that you can use VO keys-shift-m to open the contextual menu? This is especially helpful when one wants to move songs to their Shuffle, or whatever mp3 device being used.

Also, in reference to your editing question earlier today, you can simply use command-i when placed on a song to bring up the "info" dialog.

I have been having a great deal of fun with iTunes in this manner.
1. Select the "iTunes Playlist" in the "Source" pane.
2. In the search-text field enter "audio books".
3. Go to the "songs" pane and enjoy all kinds of reading material, most of which is free.

This same process using different sorts of topics of interest followed by the word "podcast" will a host of listening as well. The same can be done typing "radio" after the text. One does want to be careful to read the entire line of text though; most links are free, however some are not. Of course you will be prompted by a dialogue to purchase it if it is not.

My apologies if this has been a repeat of what you already know. I was off list for a season due to moving, so don't know all that has been covered concerning this subject.

Hi!
Thanks to those who have written about the "get info" fuctions,
they're really powerful and I suggest other Itunes users may wish
to
have a look at what is offered in this section, I was unaware of
what
they did up until a few hours ago <smile>.
Now a question and I'm sure I knew how to do this but is there
any
way of say whilst playing a song, cuing another to play straight
after it? I know that if you find another song you want and
double-
click on it, the song which was playing is stopped and the song
under
the double-click starts playing but that's not what I want.
