Go out of the list view and down to the HTML content area just below it. It will have the text of the message.

news01.khis.de is a free nntp server with most of the groups.

Hi again greg,

I have downloaded it, logged on to the paid server for the first time using it, subscribed to the groups I wanted and can access the messages. The only way I can actually read them though is to press Command E to edit, is there a way to simply just view?

OK so much for OSXnews. Try Xnnpt which you can get from http://www.edv-consulting-berlin.de/Xnntp/ it's also seems to be VoiceOver compatible.

Hi folks,

I'm sorry to keep bringing this app up but could someone email me off list the info I need to get started here on reading newsgroups with os news?

My news server is news.btinternet.com and there is no password.

As I have already said a few days back, I am able to download the list of groups but nothing more. It would be nice to get going with this because I am booting into windows all the time to check a few groups, now isn't that rediculous?

For anyone who wants to assist, the groups I want to join are rec.arts.int-fiction and rec.games.int-fiction.

Any help appreciated and appologies again for asking more on this app.

Best
