In this case we would need to go to the national legislatures to get
local copyright law changed to deal with this. The other approach
would be to have the World Blind Union approach the UN's intellectual
property organization about an international treaty dealing with the
issue.

What are they using to block you? Is it your ISP or the
information that you have to fill out to get a membership or is it
the credit card. If it is any of these things then it is just a
matter of circumventing them.

hi again dealing with bookshare like audio ownly movie the only
problem I see with this is if you are not a US citizen this whole
copy right issue comes in. We who are not American Citizens cant
belong to bookshare org and get the whole range of titles. This
is a very big problem and is so very unfair as blind people who
are not American citizens cant get access to so much of the
material Americans can. This is a legislative problem
But I like the idea of daisy book format
