External keyboards have control al the way bottom left. Laptop function
keys are mapped to things like volume control, screen dimming and screen
mirroring. So they add the Fn key to indicate that you really do want to
do F5 and not increase the volume. So that Fn key is only on a laptop.
When I'm using my laptop for a while I plug in an external USB keyboard
so I have all the normal key layouts, numeric keypad and a real
backwards delete.
