Technicly you can use Pay Pal with iTunes. What you do is get a pay
pal debit card, which only pulls from your paypal account when you
make purchases. That's how I've been getting songs on iTunes. It
works great.

You're welcome. Of course, you know that I don't search for podcasts
this way, but use a link to the iTunes Power Search bookmarked in
my browser at:
http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZSearch.woa/wa/advancedSearch?mt=2
which then opens up in iTunes Store. That's also in the Archives
<smile>, I also recommend people generally use Audible.com for
audiobooks,
since the selection is larger (except for the Harry Potter books!),
it costs
less (for subscribers), you can download multiple times, and the
files will play and bookmark on a wider variety of mp3 players. I
think there is a description of how to navigate the Audible UK store
and search for reader ratings and reviews at the Audible UK site
that is also in the Archives.
Anybody who wants to know more about getting audiobooks (from
CDs, tapes, etc.) into the Audiobook library or random podcast
downloads into the Podcasts Library should learn about
Doug Adams' AppleScripts for iTunes. That's also in the Archives.
<hint>.
