Hey Dane and others. Thanks so much for your help with Sound Studio. I was able
to get the arrow keys to work and it totally opperates like the Forge. I do
have 2 questions though. How can I jump the edit curser to the current playback
position. For example, I'm listening to a 3 hour file and I find a place where
I want to edit. Without dropping a marker, how can I make it so that when I
stop the file, the curser stays where it is instead of going all the way back
to the beginning or back to where the edit curser last was. Also, are there
mark in and out keys like in Fission and Sound Forge? In the Forge, you can use
the brackets to mark the left and right edge of a selection and in Fission,
this can be done with I and O. This is another convenient way to quickly move
the edit curser to your exact location without stopping the file and taking the
time to right arrow through it to get to where the play head was. This is a
great editing tool for the mac, and I'm just wanting to maximize my efficiency
with it. Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
