You just press Command F5 when your CD boots. I know it is ready to start speaking when the disc stops spinning.

Kate, you can either do an archive and install or a clean install,. An
archive and install will backup everything before the installation, hence archive, and a clean install will delete your existing installation before
installing the new version, hence clean. Hope that helps.

That makes sense. Can I install it over Tiger, or do I have to wipe
everything first?

Kate, I should stress that it won't specifically mention that you can
install with speech, as this has been a feature since Tiger due to the
introduction of VoiceOver. You just have to have a bit of knowledge and common sense in order to realize that it is possible to install Tiger and
future OS's with speech. Hope that helps. Chris Hallsworth BrailleNote

It does help, Chris. I only glanced through that list. I saw where it said
about braille installation, but didn't see spech mentioned(sheepishly)

Thanks,
Cait

Hi. If you saw the new features, it said that you could have Braille and/or speech during the installation process. It was possible to install Tiger with speech only, so it must be possible to install Leopard with speech as
well. Hope that helps. Chris Hallsworth BrailleNote mPower user

Does anybody know if we can buy an upgrade to Leopard if we're using Tiger?
Also, will we be able to install it without sighted assistance?

Thanks,
Cait
