It does help, both Chris and Ann. How do you use speech with the
installation? That wasn't apparent to me with Tiger, and is why I
had the
sighted friend help.

Kate, you can either do an archive and install or a clean install,. An
archive and install will backup everything before the installation,
hence
archive, and a clean install will delete your existing installation
before
installing the new version, hence clean. Hope that helps.

Kate, I should stress that it won't specifically mention that you can
install with speech, as this has been a feature since Tiger due to the
introduction of VoiceOver. You just have to have a bit of knowledge
and
common sense in order to realize that it is possible to install
Tiger and

with speech only, so it must be possible to install Leopard with
