Are you interacting with a group. Sometimes I've noticed that VO considers a paragraph as a group.

Hope that helps

Makes since, I still haven't figured out how to get VO to read a whole article on the internet at a time. It reads a paragraph and stops.

Hello Shaun,

I lock the VO keys in TextEdit to stop myself changing anything by accident. It also reduces the number of keys I need to press when reading through a document paragraph by paragraph.

I also lock them when reading articles on websites.

Cheers,

Anne

Thanks for that. I just figured either I was using it wrong or not using it to its full potential. I hate people who make smart remarks instead of answering the question or deleting the message.

Hi Shaun,

I think the purpose of locking the VO keys is to allow you to read lare blocks of text, but admittedly, it is not something that I use regularly. Hope this helps.

Best James

Listers I am having a hard time trying to understand the full usefulness of locking the VO keys. I want to know how you guys use this feature. I found it of great use in the system preferances, on the internet and when in the Finder but no where else.
