hi. i have preordered a copy. i won't be installing right away
because i want to upgrade this one. i'm wanting to get an external
for time machine to back up to plus a drive to move my huge music
collection to. my brother has upgraded copies of the mac os before
and he tells me that developers of software very quickly put out
updates so their programs will work with the new os. i don't think
most people will have problems either fresh installing or upgrading.
i don't know when i can get the new externals/have money to buy them.
it might be into november or december before i can see what's been
upgraded. i assume i'll be able to install updates to software since
they hshould work in both os 910.4 and .5.

Hi folks,
How many of you plan to buy Leopard on its release date or as soon
as you can afterwards? Surely Apple would not have released a
product which was overly buggy or in some other way broken? It
wouldn't make sense for any vendor to do that.
Just curious
Thank you
