I knew you were going to ask that. I have not figured out file sharing on the Mac and have only done it one time on my Windows machine. It is not hard and yes your setup is fine and will definantly work. Perhaps someone will be able to walk you through it. I hear sighted people saying my Mac can see my Windows machine, but Windows can't see my Mac and vice versa, so be careful.

O.k., the three pcs are connected to each other via a Linksis router and MSHome networking. The Imac is connected wirelessly to the Internet via the same Linksis router. My question is if it is possible to somehow add the Mac to the Windows network for file sharing purposes. If this is not possible is there some other interface which would let the Mac see the PC files and folders.

Thanks,
Fred

well, if it is truly a windows nome network, probably not. I suspect
however you are using a router and want to connect either wirelessly or via ethernet to your network. Since both are standardized between systems, the
answer is yes.

Is it possible to add an Imac to a Windows home network? The Mac is already connected by Blue Tooth to the router which connects three PCs on my home network. I would like to do file sharing between the Mac and the PCs. .

Thanks,
Fred
